Shipping Charges. Unless a Lot description states otherwise, the following charges for shipping, handling, and insurance apply per invoice, based on the invoice total of Hammer Price plus Buyer’s Premium:
All Lots won in the same auction ship together on one invoice when practical. Local pickup is available only with GCA’s advance approval. Visible damage or missing contents must be reported in writing within forty-eight (48) hours after delivery.
Shipping. GCA is not required to ship Property until all amounts then due have been paid in cleared funds and all required verification is complete. GCA will arrange delivery and select the carrier, service level, packaging, insurance or shipment protection, signature requirements, and other delivery safeguards.
Unless the applicable Lot description, invoice, or other transaction-specific terms expressly state otherwise, the winning Buyer is responsible for GCA-approved packing, outbound shipping, insurance, signature, handling, and delivery charges. GCA may collect those charges before shipment and may pay, waive, reduce, or subsidize some or all of them for a particular Lot or transaction.
Any charges allocated to the Buyer will be disclosed by amount, reasonable estimate, or calculation method before being charged. The Buyer is also responsible for additional costs caused by special instructions, inaccurate information, address or delivery changes, refusal, failed delivery, redelivery, storage, or other circumstances attributable to the Buyer.
International Buyers are responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, and similar destination-country charges.
