Mickey Mouse, card #1 from the Italian version of the circa 1940 Castell Bros. Silly Symphonies series, with the classic full-length pose on a yellow halo background and TOPOLINO printed at the base, the Italian name for Mickey. The origins of the Italian printing remain murky and the consignor has never seen another Mickey from this issue offered for sale. Ungraded, with a blue back, bright clean color across the front and light handling wear at the edges. Sold raw.
